The Board of Directors is comprised of 20 members from diverse areas of ZNPI. The Board's membership is comprised of up to 4 Directors-at-Large. In their roles and Board members, members of the Board are expected to act in the best interests of ZNPI. The Board will be structured to ensure a balance of interests and overall diversity off representitives from the ZNPI Alliance.

 

ZNPI members are invited, annually, to nominate a candidate from their organization to serve on the ZNPI Board of Directors. Candidates should be able to attend meetings, participate actively, and make an effective contribution to the work of the Board. Candidates will be referred to the Board Nominating Committee; upon nomination by the Board Nominating Committee, Board candidates are balloted for election by vote of the ZNPI membership.

 

Terms are staggered so that no more than two (2) positions expire at the end of any given calendar year; each Board member may serve a maximum of two (2) consecutive three-year terms.

All alliance Policy Committees and Program Oversight Committees report to the Board of Directors.
